City of Iowa City Civic Center
This project consisted of adding a third floor to the existing civic Center north wing and remodeling the first floor of the north wing. All construction is for general office space. A unique "Energy Tower" was added to the building which provides solar heating and photovoltaic electricity to the building. The Energy Tower is a strong aesthetic statement for the building declaring the City's commitment to energy efficiency and alternative sources of energy.

City of Iowa City Landfill Recycle Center
This project involved the master planning associated with a comprehensive reorganization of operations at the Iowa City Sanitary Landfill. The project entailed the construction of various site improvements, including the provision of five material reclamation stations, and the construction of a 3,200 square foot scale house/recycling center.

Iowa County Law Enforcement Center
This civic structure provides space for the sheriff's office, the civil division, booking, work-release functions, and the 40-bed Iowa County Jail. Located in Marengo, the facility fits comfortably into both its immediate surroundings and the greater community. A fully integrated video, intercom, and control system ensures a high level of safety in operation for both inmates and staff.

Johnson County Conservation HQ and Maintenance
The Headquarters Building and the Maintenance Facility, two separate projects designed for the Johnson County Conservation Board, were first occupied March 25, 2010.

Poweshiek County Public Safety Center
Located on the southeast corner of US Highway 63 and Barnes City Road, the low profile structure sits easily on the land, introducing the visitor traveling north to the seat of county government, Montezuma, Iowa. This building houses the 49-bed Poweshiek County Jail, 911 / dispatch, and offices for the sheriff, deputies, assistant county attorney, emergency management services, and the civil division.
